Frequently Asked Questions

If you don't see your question below, please get in touch with us!

How long will my order take to reach me?

Each order is handmade from raw materials in our small workshop by Rob. We aim to despatch your order within 3-4 weeks, though this may be longer for bespoke orders or during busy periods - conversely it may be quicker when it's quiet. If you have a specific date in mind, please get in touch before ordering, as we can sometimes turn orders around more quickly. You will receive an email when your order has shipped.

How will I receive my order?

We send jewellery using Royal Mail Special Delivery in the UK, which is generally next day. If we need to send your order using an alternative service (courier for example) we will inform you and provide the relevant tracking details.

What is your returns policy?

Every piece of jewellery is made to order, so unfortunately we are unable to accept returns. If there is any problem at all with your order please get in touch with us and we will do our best to resolve it. We want you to be happy with your new ring as much as you do!

I've changed my mind, can I cancel my order?

If you need to cancel your order please contact us within 48 hours of placing it. Beyond that point we may have started work or ordered materials for your order, in which case we will offer a fair, but partial refund.

What packaging do you use?

We have tried different types of packaging to keep your package secure without using unnecessary plastic. The current best option we've found is an attractive card ring box with an embossed logo. When posting to you we use strong paper and card based packaging (Jiffy green bags) which can easily be reused or recycled. We try to be as eco-friendly as possible.

Do you ship internationally?

We do, but please message us to confirm timescales before placing an order, as sometimes it can take quite a while to reach the destination. Sorry, we cannot ship to Germany currently due to packaging regulations.

Can you gift wrap?

We certainly can, although we haven't added the option to our listings yet. Please get in touch if you would like your order gift wrapping.

Why isn't my ring hallmarked?

If your ring is below the assay weight then hallmarking is not required. This simply means that only silver items which weigh above 7.78g (and 1g for gold) are hallmarked. This is total metal weight, so the weight of the slate/wood etc is not included, but if the ring is combined with another metal, such as copper, the combined weight is used. The majority of rings we make weigh between 3 - 6g, depending on size, style and width, so generally only the gold rings are sent for hallmarking. See our hallmarking page here.
