Copper, Beech and European Maple ring, handmade to order in any size.
We love this style of ring! Each one is totally unique and there's no way of knowing exactly how it will look until it's finished. We're working on adding examples of various wood types on here so you can mix and match however you want. This posting is for walnut and beech, but if there's a specific wood combination you would like, please just get in touch and we'll see what we can do.
The inside of this ring is copper with rounded polished edges for a comfortable fit. It is covered with Beech and European Walnut using the bent wood method, resulting in a strong and durable finish.
- For peace of mind, the wood used in this (and all our rings) is sourced from FSC Certified suppliers, and we only use recycled copper and silver.
This ring would be a wonderful and slightly alternative gift for anyone, or would work equally well as a wedding band or anniversary present (5 or 7 years).
We've partnered with more:trees to pay for one tree to be planted for every ring purchased - view our virtual forest and learn more here: https://moretrees.eco/forest/LakelandRings

*** Care and Protection ***
The wooden part of the ring can be finished with a natural hard wax oil to help preserve the natural beauty of the materials used. The wood should not need any more than a gentle buff occasionally, but any form of furniture wax or polish can be applied if the colour starts to fade in future. Alternatively we can apply a clear coating which is more hardwearing.
Copper oxidises naturally over time and develops a unique patina, which can be cleaned off quite easily with a soft cloth soaked in lemon juice or vinegar - submerging the ring is not recommended.
The bent wood outer layer is fairly hard wearing but it is still natural wood, so we recommend removing the ring before lifting heavy objects, or before exposing to water for significant periods.
Thank you for viewing the ring. If you have any questions or specific requirements please get in touch.
