Lake District Mountain Range Ring - Catbells
This stunning Sterling silver mountain ring captures the magnificent Catbells in the Lake District, one of the most recognisable and beautiful fells in the Lakes. Each ring is made to order by hand in your chosen size and width and is carefully inlaid with real slate from the Lake District. The slate is recessed, sanded and polished before being coated with a hard wearing, waterproof eco resin layer, so it's suitable for daily wear.
Catbells is the first addition to our Lakeland Classics range. As the name suggests, this is a collection of our favourite Lake District mountain skylines, which we've made enough times that all the design work has already been done. As a result we can offer rings from our Lakeland Classics range at a lower price than our custom mountains, on the basis that you're happy with the view shown in the above pictures - taken from Friar Crag across Derwentwater from Catbells.
Handmade in our small workshop in the South Lakes, our Catbells Mountain Range Inlay Ring offers a unique and completely bespoke piece of jewellery, featuring beautiful slate from the Lake District.
As a default we use Westmorland Green slate, which is a green-grey colour. If you would like another colour / slate from a different area, just let us know.

THE PROCESS
After receiving your order we will send you 3D printed, bio-degradeable sizing rings in a selection of sizes around your chosen size, and in your chosen width. You confirm your size, then the finished ring is made and delivered to you!
HOW DO I KNOW THE WIDTH TO CHOOSE?
This is completely down to your comfort levels. An average width would be 6mm. If you like a wider ring or if your chosen mountains have a good amount of elevation, choose 7 or 8mm. The 3D printed sizing rings we send you will help confirm that the width and size will be comfortable for you.
We can make wider rings however these would be subject to a quote - please contact us for more information.
WILL THIS RING BE OK AS A WEDDING RING?
Yes! Our mountain rings are popular as wedding rings. The slate is protected under many layers of protective coating and does not need any upkeep. We just ask that you keep the ring away from heavy pressures and cleaning chemicals, to keep your ring looking its best. If you accidentally damage your ring, please get in touch. We are always happy to help.
I WANT MY RING TO SHOW CATBELLS FROM A DIFFERENT ANGLE - HOW?
This ring is a fixed design, we do this so we can keep labour costs down and offer the most popular Lake District mountain rings at a lower price. We can absolutely capture a different angle, combine multiple mountains or customise rings in any number of ways, but for this please use our custom mountain range listing here.
