THE PROCESS
Your ring, your way.
Every ring starts with your mountain. Here's how we turn it into
something you'll wear forever.
Choose your mountain
Select an existing mountain skyline, or let us make a custom design from your images, co-ordinates, or elevation file.
Receive your biodegradable sizers
Receive a set of 3D printed biodegradable sizing rings in your chosen width.
Approve your design
We'll send a rendered design in your chosen size and width for you to amend or approve - we won't start until you're happy.
Handmade in the South Lakes
Once you've signed off the design and size, we craft your ring by hand in our Cumbrian workshop.
Our current lead time is 6 - 8 weeks from date of order. 4 week delivery is available at extra cost.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I send you my mountain?
After ordering you can email the skyline images you would like including in your design to info@lakelandrings.co.uk. You're also free to send co-ordinates, a link to a maps pin or a what 3 words location. You're also free to drop us a message with the skyline using the contact us feature on the website or contact us via our socials if that's easier. We're @LakelandRings on most platforms.
Does it have to be a Lake District mountain?
No. You can choose a landscape anywhere in the world. You can even mix and match different mountains.
Can I change the design?
Yes absolutely. You see and approve the design before production.
What about sizing? How do I know my ring size?
We've got sizing sorted. If you have a rough idea of your ring size please enter it when you order, if not just select "I have no idea". We'll send you a set of bio-degradable 3D printed ring sizers in your chosen width, so you can really take your time to get the size right.

How long does it take?
Everything we make is handmade to order so it can take a little while. Our general estimate is 8 - 10 weeks from order to delivery, which includes sizing, design and manufacture. During busy times this may stretch a little but we'll be in touch if so. If you have a specific date in mind then please let us know when you order and we'll do our best to help. We also offer a 4 week service if your order is needed quickly.
Can I use my own stone/material?
Absolutely. We've worked with lots of types of stones, sand, minerals and wood so whatever you have will probably be fine, but please drop us a message before you order to confirm we can do it. If desired we can produce a mockup and send a photo to show how your material will look once inlaid.
Can I pay by installments?
Usually yes, via one of our payment partners. You can find out more here.
