About Us

Beautiful Rings, Sustainably Crafted

We love making rings. It's relaxing, calming and incredibly satisfying to send something beautiful out of the door that someone may wear forever. To be able to do it in such a beautiful setting as Grange over Sands just makes it all the more enjoyable!

Our Story

"To find your gift is happiness" - Terry Pratchett

That quote is important to us. It's a reminder to give something a go if you find it interesting, even if you're useless at the start.

We started making rings in 2020 when, like many people, we suddenly found ourselves with a little more time on our hands... this was Rob's first effort:

Maybe it has a certain charm, but it's basically a bit rubbish. Gradually though an understanding of soldering and polishing emerged, and the results started to improve:

That was a very satisfying ring to make. It isn't complicated and it's far from perfect, but it's the moment the passion began and we realised this wouldn't be a passing phase.

Next came the wood; below is our first wrapped design, which has gone on to become one of our best loved rings (so far).

Silver was the next logical progression, but considering it's ten times the price of copper it was a little daunting. The first proper polish of a silver ring was a big milestone for us.

That was barely two years ago, and now we've delivered rings to satisfied customers across the world; as gifts, anniversary presents and wedding rings.

Our goal is fairly simple - To make the best rings we can, while keeping our environmental impact as low as possible. We use 100% recycled copper and silver and all the wood we use is from FSC certified forests. We don't use any plastic packaging and all our equipment is powered using 100% renewable electricity. We also plant a tree for every ring ordered - you can view our online forest here:
