Wedding Rings

Made for Your Story

IMG_0711_edited.jpg

Handmade wedding rings inspired by the places, landscapes and memories that mean something to you.

From personalised mountain skylines to natural Lake District slate and beautifully simple precious metal bands, every ring is made to order in our workshop on the southern tip of the Lake District.

Made to Fit You

Every ring is made to order, which means you can choose the width and size that suits you. Love a design but think it looks too wide? We can make it narrower.

Prefer a more substantial ring? We can make it wider.

Whether you're looking for a delicate 2mm band, a classic 4mm wedding ring or something more substantial, our designs aren't limited to a single width or size.

And if You're Wearing an Engagement Ring...

We can also create a custom-shaped wedding ring designed to fit around your existing engagement ring.

We'll create a 3D-printed version of your ring so you can check the fit and shape before we make the finished piece. We can work from a couple of photos, so you don't even need to send us your ring.

Something Different

We like to experiment with alternative materials, such as crystals and other kinds of rocks and minerals. This is the place for those rings. We can use these inlays in any of our other rings, so feel free to browse.

Why Lakeland Rings?
Selecting and buying wedding rings is a big decision, and it can be tricky to know who to trust. Below are a few things which (we think) set us apart from other jewellers.

Handmade to Order

Your ring is made individually, just for you, by Rob. We don't have a stock of finished rings sitting on a shelf. Each one is made to order in our South Lakes workshop, allowing us to tailor the design to your exact requirements. Choose your ring size, width and metal, and we'll make your ring specifically for you. And if you'd like something a little different, just ask. Most of our designs can be adapted to create a ring that's uniquely yours.

Your Design. Your Story.

We work with you to design and make a ring which reflects your story - we won't force you to compromise. If you got engaged at a specific spot on the shores of Ullswater and you want that exact view on your wedding ring, inlaid with rock you collected from the shoreline, we can make it. If you collected a special stone from the place you first went on holiday, we can use it. If you want a 14mm wide skyline of El Capitan with a diamond on the exact spot you realised climbing wasn't for you any more, we can do it. This is your ring and we'll make it exactly how you want it.

Quality

Not all inlay rings are created equal. It's very easy to make an inlay ring badly, either through poor choice of materials or poor execution, leading to a failure 6 months down the line. We've repaired several wood lined rings  (purchased from other places) where the uncoated wood was held on with superglue and simply fell out shortly after purchase. That's not good enough for us. We've spent a lot of time getting our process right, so in the unlikely event that a ring you buy from us fails through poor workmanship, we'll fix it for free. If you've scratched and bent it beyond recognition we'll still fix it, we'll just charge you a little bit to cover workshop time and postage.

Sustainability

Beautiful jewellery doesn't need newly mined precious metals and endangered wood. We use recycled precious metals and FSC certified wood throughout our range. Reusing existing precious metal means the material can be transformed into something new without the need to extract more metal from the ground. Our workshop is powered by 100% renewable energy, and we work hard to minimise our impact on the environment.
