Silver and Black Tourmaline inlay ring - handmade to order in any size

This stunning ring is made from 3 individual rings; each handmade from 100% recycled silver and carefully soldered together to form a single, beautiful piece. The inlay is made from Black Tourmaline, a beautiful crystalline mineral that polishes up really nicely.

This ring would be a wonderful and slightly alternative gift for anyone, and would work equally well as a wedding band or anniversary present.

** Sizing **

All UK/AU sizes are available from the drop down menu, but if you need a specific size please drop us a message.

This style of ring is available in several widths, but if you have a specific width in mind please let us know.

Please measure your ring size carefully! Resizing this style of ring without causing damage is very rarely successful, meaning a resize would usually involve scrapping the ring and starting from scratch, which would incur a resizing fee plus postage. In the unlikely event that we get the size wrong, we'll obviously put it right at no cost to you. Please view our FAQs for more detail.

There are lots of resources online advising how to measure your ring size without resorting to throwaway plastic ring gauges; www.beaverbrooks.co.uk/info/ring-size-guide is a good example. The most reliable way is to visit a jeweller if possible.

As our rings are quite wide we size from the centre of the band, rather than the leading edge. Please consider this when finding your ring size.

*** Care and Protection ***

The inlay is porous, so we apply a clear protective coating to protect it and keep your ring looking stunning. This coating shouldn't require more than the occasional clean with soapy water and a soft cloth.

We recommend removing the ring before lifting heavy objects, or before exposing to water for significant periods. Please have a look at the shop FAQs for more detail.

Be aware that silver tarnishes over time, and exposure to certain cleaning chemicals and chlorine can speed this up, so we suggest removing the ring before swimming. Please have a look at the shop FAQs for more detail.

All wood on our rings is treated with a traditional beeswax based finish, which protects the natural beauty of the ring. Each wooden ring comes with a small tin of this finish so you can reapply with a soft cloth whenever the shine starts to fade.

Silver shouldn't require anything more than the occasional wipe clean with soap and water, but please don't leave any wooden rings submerged in water.

Copper can develop a patina over time, which can be gently cleaned off with a bit of lemon juice on a soft cloth. For some people copper can cause discolouration of the skin - if you let us know when you order, we can apply a clear coat to the copper free of charge.
Each ring ordered is custom made for the buyer, making each item customised and non returnable.

In the unlikely event that a ring arrives defective or we get the size wrong, then we will of course accept a return or exchange in that instance. If you have a problem then please contact us first and we will do everything we can to make it right.

We ask that if the ring doesn't fit you first make sure you are completely certain that your ring size is accurate before sending the ring back. If the ring is the size you requested initially (i.e. we haven't got it wrong) then the relevant resizing charge will apply to put it right. If we've made a mistake we will cover all costs in putting it right (including refunding your postage to us).
We understand mistakes happen, but we'd rather put it right then leave you with a ring that you never wear!

If the ring arrives and it's too small then contact us with your correct size and we'll ask you to post it back in an envelope, at your cost, to confirm what's gone wrong. If it's a pure metal ring then we can usually expand those by a size or two without problems. There would be a £10 resizing fee plus postage for this.

If wood is involved then it's a bit trickier. Generally the wood will break or weaken if the ring is expanded, so there's a lot more work involved. In these cases there would be a 30% resizing fee, plus postage
