Silver and Westmorland Slate ring - handmade to order in any size
This stunning ring is handmade from 100% recycled silver. The outside is made from Westmorland Green slate, quarried from the heart of the Lake District. The slate is built in layers before being carefully sanded, polished and coated with 30-40 coats of protective coating.
This ring would be a wonderful and slightly alternative gift for anyone, and would work equally well as a wedding band or anniversary present.

** Sizing **All UK/AU sizes are available from the drop down menu, but if you need a specific size please drop us a message.

*** Care and Protection ***
The slate inlay is porous, so we apply a clear protective coating to protect it and keep your ring looking stunning. This coating shouldn't require more than the occasional clean with soapy water and a soft cloth.
We recommend removing the ring before lifting heavy objects, or before exposing to water for significant periods. Please have a look at the shop FAQs for more detail.

Slate is naturally porous, however we coat the ring with 30-40 layers of clear protective coating. The ring shouldn't need more than the occasional clean with soapy water.
Please note this style of ring does not have any metal edges to protect the slate. It is possible that chemicals, or high pressure activity can cause damage. Whilst we are always willing to repair damaged rings, we do recommend extra care with this ring. If you would like further advice, please contact us.
Each ring ordered is custom made for the buyer, making each item customised and non returnable.
In the unlikely event that a ring arrives defective or we get the size wrong, then we will of course accept a return or exchange in that instance. If you have a problem then please contact us first and we will do everything we can to make it right.
We ask that if the ring doesn't fit you first make sure you are completely certain that your ring size is accurate before sending the ring back. If the ring is the size you requested initially (i.e. we haven't got it wrong) then the relevant resizing charge will apply to put it right. If we've made a mistake we will cover all costs in putting it right (including refunding your postage to us).
