Welcome to Lakeland Rings!
We're a family business based on the southern tip of the stunning Lake District. We specialise in creating unique, sustainable alternative wedding rings from natural and locally sourced materials (wherever possible). Everything we do is built around environmental sustainability, ethical sourcing and first class customer service; we love what we do, and we want you to love it too. We're also expanding our range of Lake District jewellery, so if you can't find exactly what you're looking for please send us a message - we can probably make it for you!

Beautiful Rings...
We don't make boring, off the shelf rings. We experiment with alternative materials and designs to make rings which are unique, eye-catching and extra special for the wearer. Each ring is made by hand in our workshop, so we can tweak any of our designs to suit your needs - or we can come up with something new, just send us a message and we'll message back to see what we can do.
...Sustainably Crafted
Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do - we're not just saying that!
All our rings are made from recycled silver or gold and the wood used in our rings is sourced from FSC Certified forests. The electricity we use is entirely supplied from renewable sources, we only use recycled and recyclable packaging, and we even plant a tree for every ring ordered!
Lake District Slate Rings
With its rich heritage in copper and slate mining, the Lake District has been our inspiration from the start. Some of our favourite rings to make are the mountain ranges; the skyline of your choice inlaid with Lake District slate - but it doesn't have to be the Lake District! We've created rings based on mountains all over the world, using a range of different inlay materials; we can even inlay them with wood. Let us know if there's a special skyline you would like capturing on a ring and we'll work with you to make it perfect.
Alternative Wood Rings
We've progressed a bit since our first copper and walnut rings, but our love of wood remains. Walnut and Oak are some of our most popular varieties, but we also love to work with wood supplied by or requested by our customers - although if it isn't available from an FSC certified source we'll propose alternatives.

Lake District Pendants
Our range of Lake District pendants is constantly expanding, because we understand rings are not for everyone. We offer simple designs incorporating stunning slate from the Lake District, through to more complex designs which showcase the mountain range of your choice inlaid with slate or other materials.
If you're looking for special Lake District jewellery for someone, a customised pendant with Lake District slate could be perfect.

Lake District Cufflinks
Our unique range of Lake District slate cufflinks would make the perfect gift for a lover of the region. We've found they're especially popular with wedding parties, as they make an excellent finishing touch to a Lake District wedding, or as a gift for groomsmen and ushers.
As with our pendant range, the available Lake District cufflink designs are growing all the time. Current options range from simple round designs, to square mountain ranges of your choice. We'll shortly be adding round mountain range designs, but if you would like some of those in the meantime please get in touch. Oh - and they don't need to be inlaid with slate...
Lake District Earrings & Studs
If rings, pendants and cufflinks aren't your thing, how about earrings? We have a range of simple and beautiful studs or dangly earrings available, inlaid with your choice of materials from the Lake District or further afield. As with all our products the range is growing and we're always open to new ideas, so if you don't see what you want please let us know.
Lake District Bracelets
So far we've only made a few Lake District bracelets, but they really are stunning. Recycled Sterling silver in a range of sizes, inlaid with Lake District slate or other materials and finished with slate oil. They would make the perfect gift for a special birthday or other occasion.
Our existing design is a bangle style, but if there's demand for a different style (such as hinged) we're happy to provide a custom quote.
Not just the Lake District!
We love the Lake District (that should be obvious by now) but we can incorporate materials and create designs from practically anywhere. We've made mountain range rings and pendants featuring ranges in New Zealand, America, Austria, France and even Yorkshire! Just leave a note when you place your order and we'll send you a mock-up.
