Stainless Damascus steel single channel inlay ring - handmade to order in any size
This stunning ring is machined from quality, marine grade Damascus steel in a beautiful Dense Twist pattern. The ring is etched in acid to enhance the beautiful pattern.
Stainless Damascus is hardwearing, durable and scratch-resistant. We use marine grade steel so your ring will not corrode like cheaper carbon steel Damascus will.
The channel can be filled with any stone of your choice. In picture 1 the channel is empty. Pictures 2 and 3 show Westmorland Green slate, which is a lovely mix of grey-green colours with plenty of interest. Also available are:
Skiddaw (Black) slate
Elterwater (light grey) slate
Welsh (purple) slate
St Bees (red) sandstone
Lapis Lazuli (blue)

We don't have image examples for each stone type with Damascus. Please contact us for colour samples or search our site for other rings showing what these stones look like.
Each ring is totally unique.
The channel will be centrally located and made "by eye" to ensure the right amount of stone is seen vs the beautiful Damascus pattern on the edges. The minimum channel size is 2mm. If you have specific measurements in mind (eg extra wide edges) please let us know.
** Specifications **
The steel we use is a stainless powder based steel consisting of two steel grades – 304L and 316L. Both of which are variations of the 18 percent chromium – 8 percent nickel alloy, welded together in more than one hundred layers. The steel itself is hardwearing, scratch resistant and marine grade - so will not corrode.
May not be suitable for those with a nickel allergy, depending on sensitivity. The chromium helps to prevent the nickel from leaching. If you have a sensitivity, please let us know - we may be able to find a work-around.
This ring would be a wonderful and slightly alternative gift for anyone, and would work equally well as a wedding band or anniversary present.

** Sizing **
Damascus steel rings containing stone can be difficult to resize. If you aren't sure, choose "I have no idea" as your size.
For ALL orders, we send out 3D printed ring sizers in the width ordered and in a selection of sizes. This ensures we get a perfect fit.
